Welcome to Georgetown

Funky, eclectic, artsy and fun, Georgetown, Seattle is a great place to eat, drink, shop and more!

Uniquely urban and virtually untouched by big-box development, Georgetown is a rich, diverse, quirky community with an extremely rich (and colorful) history. Surrounded by industrial businesses, our neighborhood flourishes with a strong and active residential core, a thriving creative community, and a retail district of small businesses, restaurants, breweries and more.

Visit Georgetown to eat amazing food, drink hand-crafted beer, cider, or fine wine. Explore landmarks like the Hat N’ Boots in Oxbow park or the historic Georgetown Steam Plant. Visit our independent record and book stores. Explore the Trailer Park Mall where you can even get married by Elvis! (Yes, he’s still here). Check out our business directory and plan your trip or just come down and explore! Make sure to check out our monthly ART ATTACK Art Walk, held every second Saturday, featuring the fine art, crafts and creative works from local artists, makers and retailers.

About the Georgetown Business Association (GBA):

The mission of the GBA is to promote Georgetown businesses and the neighborhood, preserve neighborhood character, help ensure safety of our businesses and the community, assist in projects to improve the environment and aesthetics of the neighborhood, and to be an advocate for Georgetown by working with other neighborhood groups, the City, County, and beyond.

Georgetown is a unique place and it is GBA’s goal to be stewards of the commercial and creative heart of the neighborhood for the benefit of all.
